These workshops combine yoga and somatic experiencing to dissolve body tightness, improve your posture and increase your wellbeing. They suit all; abilities , body shapes and experience (beginners are very welcome). Injuries and mobility restrictions are not a problem for this type of session, just let me know. Over the decades, gravity and life's challenges condense your joints and posture; this diminishes your sense of aliveness and how you move; leaving you less resilient - but there is something you can do about it! Join me for practises that undo the knots and soften the joints & muscles open. Find a relaxed physical length you didn't have when you walked in!



November 2nd   Day Workshop - The Roots of Change

We all have difficulties and we all have emotional pain; because there's things in life we don't like.  Sometimes we feel stuck in ourselves but want to move forward. The upshot is, we all want to change some things; the question is how.

The self help industry gives methods, systems and techniques to change a person, it tell us to do more -  to add to what we are - but what if we subtracted?

Over this day you will practice movements and meditations to :-

  • dissolve muscular and emotional tensions
  • feel what mindfulness is
  • tap into the roots of change within you

By doing and being less (as a practice) you can sensitise to the 'roots of change' in the moment. This is where you relax your negative patterns away and; ideas, insights and inspirations can come. Join us for a day to explore what the roots of change are and relax into depths where peacefulness and the potential for positive changes can emerge.

"Breathwork" is very popular these days - many timed holding and breathing patterns are offered for questionable benefits. Imposed breath patterns over-ride the possibility of 'natural' breathing - by 'natural' I mean fully connected to body without habits.

Natural breathing is a way to;

  • dissolve your breathing habits and experience the body's aliveness,
  • release physical and emotional tensions  
  • unify body and mind with the present
